We had a booth at the Tampa Boat Show, September 9 - 11 at the Tampa Convention Center. We set up our booth to look and feel as if you were on The Bay Club’s pool deck along with beautiful view shots looking out onto the marina. I enjoyed talking with many visitors and was pleased to hear how they are very excited about our new lease rates and opportunities at the Westshore Yacht Club Marina. It was great to hear and see so much interest about the marina with great questions about the memberships for the marina and Bay Club (which is included with your marina membership). I have to tell you, having both memberships is very convenient. You can treat yourself to a spa treatment, have an invigorating workout, enjoy a drink at the tiki bar or indulge in a delicious meal. It’s the most fun you will have on and off land in the Tampa Bay area!

With boating season just right around the corner, it is a perfect time to visit Lost Key Marina & Yacht Club for some fun in the sun. This summer, things are definitely heating up at Westshore Yacht Club. Chef Nick at The Bay Club conducts a monthly cooking class for residents and members each month. We had a successful inaugural class at the end of April. The group cooked Chilean Sea Bass En Papillote, where each participant prepared their own dish from slicing and dicing the ingredients to cooking it in The Bay Club’s kitchen. With complimentary wine, great company and a delicious entrée, everyone enjoyed the culinary cooking experience with Chef Nick and The Bay Club service staff.

One of the great benefits of being a WCI Club member is that you have the opportunity to visit other WCI Clubs and participate in events that bring together WCI Community residents members from all over Florida. In March, WCI will be hosting the 5^th Annual WCI Tennis Club Challenge at The Colony Golf & Bay Club in Bonita Springs.
